SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATIONS In the Summer of 2014, I interned for Eco-Artist Brandon Ballengee. During my two month internship, Ballengee’s work was exhibited at the McColl Center for Art on August 3rd. To help promote his Installation:  Love Motel for Insects , I illustrated the anthropoids native to North Carolina. The illustrations were used for promotional advertising and public giveaways. I created the illustrations starting with water color and colored pencil, then scanned them into the computer, finishing them digitally. The final illustrations were printed on textured paper and then distributed.
